The Importance of Balance
As another part of your wellness analysis, taking a look through and understanding the interactions that your daily or weekly supplements, prescription drugs and food intake may have on your body is a crucial part of understanding why and how your body functions on a day-to-day basis. While we’d all love to think that our daily supplements are here to help us, there may be times where they do the exact opposite – and that’s where I can help you pinpoint the problems that these things may be causing!

Know Your Supplements
Many of us may believe that simply taking a supplement is going to be beneficial, however, that’s not always the case! Sometimes there are interactions that a supplement can cause when combined with other supplements or prescription medication. Othertimes, a person’s genetic predispositions (as discussed in the iridology section) will showcase that that specific supplement, whether it’s used in conjunction with another supplement/medication, is not a good fit for that person. A close and clear analysis will help allow you to make the best decisions for your body.
Any Prescription Medications?
We hear this question a lot when we go into various medical offices, and there’s a reason that we do. It’s pointed out by both health professionals and the medication companies themselves that you should be careful when combining two prescriptions – but rarely do they mention any interactions they may have when you’re taking other supplements.
The impact that various medications and prescriptions have on your body can vary depending on a wide array of factors. How long you’ve been on a prescription? What are the potential differences between brands vs generics? What are their side effects? These and many other factors are all important to understand regarding your health. For some, there may be alternatives which are less impactful on the body and sometimes it may be unavoidable, based on any pre-existing medical conditions you may have. Having all of this information available in a clear and concise format will allow you to make adjustments as you see fit with no pressure.

Nutritional Impact
Above all else, food is the most important thing that we can put into our bodies, and with good reason. Anything that we eat is turned into fuel to get us through our various busy work days, whether it’s going to the office, heading to the gym or spending time with family and friends. The impact of what we eat and what’s IN what we put into our bodies is something you should be aware of.
It is so crucial to understand the quantity and quality of the food that you consume on a daily and weekly basis. This is oftentimes the easiest overlooked aspect of health! Many people believe that they’re getting great foods in them but sometimes it’s TOO MUCH great food, while other times the quality of food (as in higher processed foods, grain-fed meats compared to grass-fed, etc) is less than what we understand.
The high quantities of undesirable ingredients in most foods today is at an unbelievable level and reading the nutritional facts on the labels of various foodstuffs can sometimes be a confusing and frankly overwhelming process. This is one of the final steps in figuring out your wellness journey, and it’s important to keep your nutrition in mind in conjunction with any supplements and/or medications you’re taking. You want to give your body the best chance it has to work effeciently, and to do that we want to be able to compare it to other success stories in order to allow you to make the best decisoin for improvements.
